Big News: Ponderosa Cider Co. Is Moving to The Orchard!
Have you heard the news? It’s true—Ponderosa Cider Co. is making a big move! We’re thrilled to announce that our tasting room will soon be relocating to The Orchard at Apple Lane (formerly known as Machado’s). While we don’t have an exact date yet, we’re aiming for as early as February 2025. The new location will be called Ponderosa Cider Co. at The Orchard, and we’re partnering with The Orchard to bring you an exciting and elevated experience.
What to Expect at the New Location:
More Hours, More Fun!
We’re expanding our hours so you can enjoy your favorite ciders more often. Once we’re open, you can visit us Wednesday through Monday, starting at noon each day. Closing times will vary between 6 PM and 9 PM, depending on the day and events.
Onsite Kitchen with Delicious Fare
We’re introducing an onsite kitchen that will serve:
- Savory hand pies
- Seasonal salads made with fruit fresh from the orchard
- Small bites perfect for pairing with cider
You’ll also still be able to grab The Orchard’s famous pies and hand pies—a local favorite! And that’s not all; there’s talk of a coffee bar and homemade breakfast pastries in the mornings, brought to you by The Orchard, before our tasting room opens.
A Dream Tasting Room
Our new tasting room will be beyond your wildest dreams. Here’s what’s in store:
- A/C in the summer and heat in the winter for year-round comfort
- Windows! Yes, windows to let in natural light and offer stunning views of the orchard
- Seating among the very apple trees that supply some of the fruit for our ciders
A Grand Reopening Celebration
We’ll start off with a soft opening to work out any kinks and get everything just right. Please be patient with us as we adjust to our new space and luxuries. If all goes according to plan, our Grand Reopening is set for March 22, 2025. Mark your calendars!
